Kentucky: Listing of Free Government Phone Providers

If you live in the state of Kentucky and participate in the Federal Lifeline program, Kentuckyyou have the opportunity to receive a free government cell phone along with free service (talk/text and data). Or, if you prefer, through the Lifeline program you could opt for discounts on your home landline service (choose one only).

Because the plans vary from company to company, it is recommended that you review and compare several companies and plans before signing up for one. Below is a listing of phone service providers that participate in the Lifeline program in the state of Kentucky:

The above list may not be a listing of all free and discounted Lifeline phone providers in Kentucky, but it's a good start. As we come across more providers, we'll add them to the list. We'll also periodically review the list to remove those providers no longer servicing the Kentucky area

Fact

Kentucky Lifeline Fact: As of June 2024, only 27% of eligible Kentucky households have enrolled in the Lifeline program. There are over 632,000 eligible households and only a little over 148,800 have enrolled. You can find this information on the Universal Service Administrative Company website.
